Steffen Pauls, co-founder and managing partner at 7GC, invited Vinod Khosla, Co-Founder of Sun Microsystems and Founder of Khosla Ventures, to join him in his fifth episode of Deal Talk.
Moonfare, a sister company of 7GC, created the Deal Talk series to help bridge investor communities to global venture capital and private equity firms. Steffen, who also acts as the Founder and CEO of Moonfare, introduced Deal Talk in March 2021, a new video event series.
Vinod Khosla has been a staple in Silicon Valley since completing his MBA at Stanford University in 1980. He then went on to co-found Sun Microsystems and then moved to venture capital by becoming a partner at Kleiner Perkins.
In 2004, Khosla left Kleiner and started his own venture firm - Khosla Ventures (KV). The fund “fundamentally likes large problems that are amenable to technology solutions”. The firm has gone on to invest in over 1,000 startups including household names like Stripe and Doordash.
